Small architectures
2007

These small houses in marble and stone are models of projects for houses that will never be built. They are ideas for volumes, forms and materials of architecture that cannot meet the needs of humankind today. They cannot be produced for the construction market; they are not homes, not offices, not commercial facilities, shops or whatever. They are however the beautiful constructions, forms and volumes of a world that cannot belong to this point in history, to this epoch and civilisation. But they are familiar and we feel close to them, as if we knew them and had always seen them.
Could they belong perhaps, like us, to another world?
