Michele De Lucchi has reinterpret one of the most successful Ernestomeda models
in a capsule limited edition created for the Horti residences units in Milan.

The three-dimensional design of the surface has been inspired by the sketches and sculptures
of the Cataste series by Michele De Lucchi, with their archetypal and evocative forms.

curated by Margherita Guccione and Pippo Ciorra. An environmental installation, charged with meanings and references.

Michele De Lucchi is the protagonist of the sixth edition of the Nature of monographic exhibitions, on which occasion the host is asked to design a site-specific installation representative of his research before the public.
For this occasion De Lucchi chose to represent himself through a sculptural element lying in-between the object and the building:

“A missing ring is the element which connects distant parts of a broken and open chain. Nowadays we often need it. We need more and more rings to connect the multiple ramifications of social, political, economic, cultural, and moral relationships. But we also need more rings in order to physically connect, in the real life, the idea of full and void, of closed space and open space, of content and container” (Michele De Lucchi, 2018)

The installation project will be acquired by MAXXI Architecture Collections.

"Let me briefly idealize the concept of a woodstack. Woodstacks are truly altars to nature and to woodland.
The word catasta is a poem in itself, because of the wood that it is made of, the things it conjures up
and - in the Italian language - because of  the sound of the word itself. I know woodstacks are not always
well-crafted things of beauty; often they are an insult to the environment and nature. But, every now and then,
they can be veritable constructions: cottages or vast cathedrals with big roofs to cover them,

The Tolomeo Lampione Outdoor has just won the prestigious 2017 Wallpaper* Design Award 2017!
Created in 1987 by Michele De Lucchi for Artemide, Tolomeo lamp is one of the biggest success of lighting history. 

After the MAPIC Awards, Il Centro - Arese Shopping Centre has won the prestigious European price EPSE in the Sustainability category, confirming once again its level of innovation and avant-gardism.

For the 8th edition of the competition, fourteen international major projects were submitted such as the ICE House in the Netherlands, the Lansdowne Road Stadium in Ireland or the Cluj Arena in Romania.
Pioneer in bio-sustainability and energy saving, Il Centro combines technological advantages with natural elements. The 17,000 square meters of modular polycarbonate used as a translucent roofing facilitate the diffusion of the light while reducing heat loss. Since 2003, the aim of the European Polycarbonate Sheet Extruders (EPSE) is to promote unique properties of polycarbonate and a wide array of applications in which it may be used, being recently adopted by interior architects, furniture designers and artists.

Mysterious Baths in Milan won the top prize at the Vivaio Awards 2016 competition!

This award honors innovative projects reinvigorating the city of Milan.
The unique restauration of the former Caimi pool was made possible by a tight collaboration between the
Teatro Franco Parenti, Michele De Lucchi and the architects Giovanna Latis (aMDL), Nicola Russi and Elena Martucci.

Credenza, designed by Michele De Lucchi for Veneta Cucina, receives the Special Mention at the German Design Award 2017.

Credenza is an informally structured kitchen in which it is the individual who defines the way to arrange and use it.
It began as a symbolic and evocative concept, but soon developed into an actual kitchen project in which the materials, functions and design melded perfectly.
The Jury said "An interesting design approach that gives kitchens a new and exciting interpretation".

Architect Michele De Lucchi will be in charge of the architectural restoration and requalification project.
Chef Carlo Cracco will open a new restaurant on its premises.

A symbol of Milan, the former Agip petrol station in Piazzale Accursio,
will become the headquarters of the new automotive project of Lapo Elkann and Garage Italian Customs,
dedicated to tailor made customisation.

“A streamline building seems to be taking off from Piazzale Accursio.
It has two big and imposing roofs which are not just projections for shadow or shelter from the rain;
they are the essence of this strongly communicative architecture.
Nothing could be better for the Garage Italia Customs activity,
a start-up which focuses on the growing need for personality and identity.
This is not just a building; it is a monument to fantasy.” (Michele De Lucchi, October 2015)

Alessandro Manzoni’s house reopens to the public, the historic home where the author lived from 1813 to his death.
The repair and restoration have been supported by the Intesa SanPaolo Bank and made possible thanks to an agreement 
between the Bank and the Manzoni Foundation for study. The renovation project was designed by architect Michele De Lucchi.

"Casa Manzoni is not just a home museum, but rather a place where we celebrate
the extraordinary figure of Alessandro Manzoni through his complete works and the times in which he lived".

Pavilion Zero offers a travel experience into the Earth's crust.

The Casinsieme association is a non-profit organization.
It has created a day care center for people with Alzheimer's and other similar health problems.
The center is located in the building adjacent to Villa Sclopis, already home to the Hospice,
and surrounded by a historic green park in Salerano Canavese.

The project, by Michele De Lucchi, transformed the building into a familiar space which is reassuring, bright and clean
for those who have to experience the disease, helping to improve the quality of their lives.

Studies for the conservation, use and the enhancement of the last masterpiece of Michelangelo

par son ami de longue date, le designer Michele De Lucchi.
